Our 2006 wine
At long last the 2006 wine is in the bottle. A Chenin Blanc blended with Viognier and a natural sweet wine made from Chenin Blanc. We were considering blending with some muscat but the Chenin Blanc dessert wine developed some wonderful honey and fruit flavours. Only 1600 bottles so we expect to sell most through 5 Mountains Lodge and our outlets in the UK.

Is there any of the 2004 Chenin Blanc wine left?

I've heard it said that the reputation of Wellington wines is growing enormously and that Wellington is the up and coming wine district in South Africa (if it hasn't already arrived!).
What's your take on that? I only ask coz I know Paarl & Stellenbosch well & I want to extend my area of knowledge to include new districts. Different soils? Different wine characteristics? Scenery's good too I hear. I'm a student of wines by the way wanting to learn. Winebuff Re: Our 2006 wine
